The Ceillac valley in the Queyras Regional Park

The Queyras region, green valleys and sharp mountains...

In the heart of the superb Queyras Regional Park, you'll find the Ceillac resort, nestling in an authentic mountain village. Well-known for downhill skiing with its renowned slopes, it is equally renowned for cross-country skiing with its 45km of trails.

In summer, there's no shortage of sporting and leisure activities either: paragliding, via ferrata (Via corda in the waterfall opposite the hotel), climbing, fishing... and of course hiking with its many trails, such as the famous GR5 and GR58, which wind their way through grandiose landscapes and exceptional sites. These include the Miroir, Sainte-Anne and Clausis lakes, a sumptuous setting bathed in crystal-clear waters. The Ceillac valley stretches through larch forests and flower-filled plains, where you can easily spot marmots, chamois and roe deer.

With its 65,000 hectares, the Queyras Regional Park reveals itself through its typical villages such as Saint-Véran, the highest in Europe at 2042m, Eygliers and its enchanting setting between a lake and the Ecrins massif, Mont-Dauphin with its stronghold listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Château-Ville-Vieille and its Queyras Fort, Vars and its Forêt Blanche just fifty minutes from the hotel.... But also Abriès and its passes, which are accessible in summer (closed from November to May): the Col Izoard at 2360 m, an emblematic Alpine route between Briançon and Queyras; the Col Agnel at 2648 m, which links France and Italy.?Don't forget to visit the 'Maison du Parc' in Arvieux and the 'Maison de la Nature' in Ristolas, two places dedicated to preserving nature in this exceptional region.
